Le riche passé d'Haïti est marqué par une implication américaine débutant en 1915, après l'assassinat d'un président haïtien, lorsque les États-Unis ont entamé une occupation militaire pour protéger leurs intérêts. Cette présence de longue date a souvent balancé entre intervention active et partenariats stratégiques, laissant une empreinte indéniable sur l'évolution politique d'Haïti.

L'Impact de la Politique Américaine

La politique américaine en Haïti a souvent vacillé, entre la recherche de stabilité par la présence militaire et le soutien aux régimes par des moyens diplomatiques et économiques, dans le but d'instaurer la démocratie et de favoriser le développement.
